Hey everyone! My name is Christina Shifflett and I've been a registered nurse since 2013 where I started out working on an intermediate care floor. Throughout my career as a nurse I have gravitated to the educational  aspect of nursing, so when cannabis started to regain popularity, I knew there was going to be a need for nurses educated in cannabis sciences.

The Green Nurse Educator was created to help bridge the educational gap between what is known about cannabis from histories or anecdotally, as well as what we know about cannabis from the research currently being completed. The Green Nurse Educator offers one on one consultations for patients who have questions about taking cannabis in a safe and appropriate manner for various symptoms. Cannabis can be an incredibly useful medicine for a variety of symptoms, but it can also have an effect on how the body absorbs other prescription or over the counter (OTC) medicines.
